THE COLONEL INVENTION
The Colonel Invention is a book that chronicles the political landscape during the "Coronelismo" era in Brazil, portraying the powerful men who controlled the country's politics with a mix of tyranny, technocracy, and populism. I had the privilege of designing the book cover, which I created using a combination of collage, lettering, and illustration techniques, as well as some picture retouching. My goal was to craft an eye-catching and thought-provoking artwork that captures the essence of the book's subject matter.
